Simon C Harvey
DENTAL AND MAXILLOFACIAL RADIOLOGY SPECIALIST
Led by Simon C Harvey, a Consultant and GDC registered specialist in Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology. He is ‘dual qualified’ in medicine (MBBS) and dentistry (BDS) and legally trained (MA, Medical Law). Simon completed specialist training (CCST) in the London Deanery and is a substantive NHS consultant at Queen Victoria Hospital,, Sussex and privately at One Welbeck, London. He sits on advisory panels for The Royal College of Radiologists (RCR), The Medical Defence Union (The MDU) and The Dental Defence Union (The DDU).
His subspecialty clinical interests are dentoalveolar CBCT and maxillofacial interventional radiology. He has written or contributed to four books on these topics and authored more than a dozen peer reviewed journal articles on dental imaging or legal analysis.
He is a passionate educator and has been employed in higher education for 15 years at leading universities including King’s College London, University of Birmingham and University of Sheffield.
